Dishing the Dirt - July 2026
Spring was beautiful, busy, and DRY! Kent County is experiencing a significant drought, having one of the driest springs in over a century. It is amazing to see the fragile little sprouts push their way out of the soil and grow in spite of the hot, dry conditions. It is not easy and yet they do it.

Hello my friends! Hello my friends! As hard as it is to believe, December- and the year 2025- is rapidly coming to an end! In our first year, Sandy’s Garden has donated 6,824 pounds of fresh, wholesome vegetables grown in our garden, and 134 dozen eggs laid by our free-ranging, fun, and endlessly entertaining ducks and chickens!
